About us at Flow insurance...

The Flow team is an energetic ambitious bunch, based all over England. The team has grown during lockdown - many of us haven’t met in real life and it will be strange to eventually meet face to face. Thankfully, we’ve got used to building virtual relationships on video calls. 

We are animal lovers and it’s not unusual for Elvis or Cookie to put in an appearance on our video calls. We’re passionate about saving the environment and during lockdown, we’ve become more aware of waste. Many of us have added more plant foods to our diet recently in a bid to reduce our carbon footprint.

When Flow began, we did extensive customer research and found a gap in the market for rolling, monthly insurance that could be fully controlled by the customer online, 24/7. We listened to you. You told us you didn't enjoy waiting to get through to a call centre to make changes to your policy, and would prefer to do it online yourself. That was our starting point, and the products evolved from there.

We strive to be a zero waste business. Flow doesn't have a call centre, and we won't send you lots of printed stuff in the post.  We offer our customers digital insurance products. This means we have lower overheads and a lower carbon footprint than an insurer with call centres. We pass this cost saving on to our customers, which is reflected in lower premiums. This is a win-win for customers and for the environment.

Community and charity 

It’s important that we give back to our local communities. So, all Flow employees are granted 20 hours of volunteering time a year to spend on charitable activities. This could be anything from beach cleans to gardening. Every little helps and we're proud to play our part.
