Simply log in to your Flow account, select ‘Your renewal, make changes’ and continue from there.
Your proof of NCD gets shared with you automatically and will contain: the vehicle attached to the discount, the number of years, if the NCD was protected and the policy end/cancellation date.
If you wish to make changes with effect from the renewal date only, then please select the 'renewal, make changes' tile and make your changes there. Please ensure you save the changes made. If you need to make changes to the policy prior to the renewal date, please select the correct tile for the change you wish to make and proceed from there.
If you have already selected for your policy to automatically renew, then there is nothing further you need to do. Your policy will renew and the payment will be debited on the renewal date using the same payment method used last year.
If your policy is already due to automatically renew, but you wish to change the payment method then please log in to your account and select the 'Renewal, Make changes’ tile and update your payment preference.
If you have not selected to automatically renew with us, then you can renew your policy when you log in to your Flow account.
On your account homepage, select the 'auto-renew' in the top banner and continue from there. The payment will not be debited until the renewal date.
If your policy is not due to automatically renew and you wish to change the payment method, please still proceed to the select 'auto-renew' in the banner first and select that you wish to renew the policy and here you will be presented with the payment options.
If you wish to change the payment method from one annual payment to monthly payments (eligibility criteria applies) then please select the 'renewal, make changes' tile and save the changes made. You will still then need to proceed to the 'auto-renew' in the top banner to confirm that you wish to renew the policy if you are not on an automatic renewal already.
On your account homepage, select ‘cancel policy’ then select ‘cancel my renewal’ from the list. Just to note, if you don’t renew (and you're not selling your car) you'll need alternative cover in place to continue driving legally on the road.
To make sure our prices are accurate, our experts have to analyse many factors that are specific to yourself. They also look into things like inflation, trends in the insurance market, how much claims cost each year and even things like world events, for example.
To view them, log in to your Flow account and click the documents icon. This will bring up your policy documents and document of insurance, which you can also download as a PDF.
Whether you made just one claim or multiple claims, if you have Protected NCD, you won’t lose your discount.
If you didn’t protect your NCD, your discount will be reduced in line with our step back rules which you’ll find in your car insurance policy document.
If you were involved in an accident that wasn't your fault and we recovered the cost from the at-fault insurer, your NCD won't be affected.
There are some other instances where a claim won't have affected your NCD. For example, you'll have paid an excess for getting a chipped windscreen sorted but you won't lose any of your NCD. It’s worth remembering that even if you have PNCD and make a claim (whether fault or non-fault), your premium can still increase at renewal.
Log in to your Flow account and head to ‘account details’ where you’ll see a tick box at the bottom of the page.
